Elvis, Death of a Legend
Elvis, Death of a Legend
A Documentary Film that re-lives the last days of The King, music legend Elvis Presley.
Retrace Elvis' Fascinating Life and Tragic Death with his best friend, Larry Geller.
Includes interviews with other important people in his life.
August 16, 1977, was the last night anyone saw Presley alive. After an unscheduled visit to the dentist, the star retired to his bedroom in Graceland. Within the next few hours, he was found dead of heart failure. But Presley lives on – his films and recordings remain popular today. His hairdresser (a Very important job, Elvis’ hair is itself a legend) and spiritual adviser, Larry Geller, voices his memories of his dear friend as an awesome stage presence.
Almost a million visitors a year now visit Graceland. His original fans are joined by interested younger followers still in awe of this larger than life figure. His death, like his life, is shrouded in both admiration and controversy.
